Purple Mango, a Partnership Firm registered under the Indian Partnership Act, 1932, with GSTIN 08ABFFP4033J1Z6 ("we", "us", "our", or "Company"), operates the Krizlin mobile application ("App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, share, and protect your personal information.
This Privacy Policy is published in compliance with the Information Technology Act, 2000, the IT Rules, 2011, and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, as applicable.
Information You Provide: Full name, email address, phone number, date of birth, profile photograph, gender, interests and hobbies, bio, bank account details (for Hosts), and referral code.
Automatically Collected: Device information, IP address, app usage data, FCM token for push notifications, crash reports via Firebase Analytics, and log data.
Location Data: With your permission, we collect GPS location to provide location-based event recommendations. You can disable this in device settings.
Contacts: With your explicit permission, we may access contacts to enable social features. Contact data is processed locally and not stored on our servers.
Payment Information: Payments are processed by Razorpay. We do not store credit card, debit card, or UPI details. Razorpay processes data per PCI-DSS standards.
We use your information to: create and manage your account; personalize your event feed; process bookings and purchases; send push notifications; enable Host-Attendee communication; facilitate the referral program; detect and prevent fraud; analyze usage and improve services; comply with legal obligations; and respond to support requests.
With Hosts: When you book an Event, we share your name, email, and booking details with the Host. We do not share your phone number, date of birth, payment details, or location.
With Analytics Providers: We use Firebase Analytics (Google) for anonymized usage data.
With Payment Processors: Payment data is shared with Razorpay for transaction processing.
Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required by law or to protect rights and safety.
We do not sell your personal information to advertisers or third parties.
We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption (HTTPS/TLS), secure token-based authentication (JWT), access controls, regular security audits, and encrypted credential storage. No method of transmission is 100% secure, but we strive to protect your information.
We retain your information while your account is active. Upon account deletion, we delete or anonymize your data within 90 days, except where required by law (transaction records may be retained up to 7 years for tax/accounting purposes).
Under applicable Indian law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023:
Right to Access: Request a copy of your personal information.
Right to Correction: Update or correct your information via profile settings or by contacting us.
Right to Erasure: Request deletion through the App's Settings or at support@krizlin.com.
Right to Withdraw Consent: Withdraw consent at any time without affecting prior processing.
Right to Grievance Redressal: Contact our Grievance Officer (see Section 11).
The App is not intended for individuals under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 16. Contact us at support@krizlin.com if you believe a child has provided personal information.
The App may use local storage, device identifiers, and Firebase Analytics SDKs to understand usage patterns, remember preferences, deliver relevant content, and diagnose issues.
The App may link to third-party services (BookMyShow, Eventbrite, etc.). We are not responsible for their privacy practices.
We may update this Privacy Policy. Changes will be posted with an updated date. Material changes will be notified via push notification or email. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
